Michael the visionary founder and Creative Director behind Valentshop, introduced the brand’s jewelry line in 2024, bringing a distinctive touch of Springfield, Missouri’s spirit into the world of wearable art.
Originally rooted in the creation of holistic living spaces, Michael’s personal passion for fine craftsmanship found its purest expression in jewelry. Each Valentshop piece is conceived as a miniature interior — a thoughtful balance of structure, emotion, and narrative. Guided by the same philosophy that shapes his design work, Michael believes jewelry should be a “home for the heart” — a personal artifact that reflects, comforts, and connects with the wearer.
His designs are characterized by a blend of organic warmth and refined geometry, often incorporating textures and forms inspired by architectural elements and the natural landscapes of the Ozarks region. Prior to launching his own collection, Michael dedicated years to mastering materiality and small-scale design, developing a signature style that feels both timeless and intimately modern.

Valentshop proudly uses ethically sourced gemstones, responsibly-sourced certified diamonds, and cultivated (lab-grown) diamonds. We also source estate (pre-owned) diamonds including Old Mine and Old European cuts. Our precious metals are 100% certified recycled.
